Ohio-born
artist and designer Andy Jordan (b. 1979) currently lives
and works in New York city. Focusing on scenic and costume
design Andy freelances for various projects in theater, dance,
and performance art. Currently he is working with artists/designers
at David Quinn and Izquierdo Studio. |

|
|
Andy
finds inspiration from diverse forms, ranging from comic books
to surrealist theater - currently his main muses are science
fiction and fashion. His work, a form of figurative sculpture
looking at the construction of identity, is a mingling of
fine art, costume, fashion, and performance. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
He
received his MFA (emphasis on Sculpture) from the Cranbrook
Academy of Art and his BFA in Fine Arts (minoring in Media
Studies) from the Columbus College of Art and Design. |
